Dr. Carmen Kavali is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Sandy Springs, serving patients throughout Buckhead and the greater Atlanta area. Originally from the Savannah area, Dr. Kavali earned both her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. She completed her general-surgery residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago and advanced fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Wayne State University in Michigan.

Dr. Kavali is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery—the only plastic-surgery board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties—reflecting her commitment to safety, ethics, and surgical excellence.
