Dr. Teri N. Moak is a fellowship-trained, board-eligible aesthetic plastic surgeon at Monarch Plastic Surgery and Skin Renewal Center in Sandy Springs, proudly serving patients throughout Buckhead and the greater Atlanta area. With an artistic eye and a deep commitment to patient care, Dr. Moak combines scientific precision with personalized attention to help every patient look and feel their best.

Originally from Indianola, Mississippi—the home of the Blues and legendary musician B.B. King—Dr. Moak later moved to Oxford, MS, where she earned undergraduate degrees in Physics and Biochemistry from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), along with minors in Chemistry, Kinesiology, and Spanish. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Biophysical Chemistry from the University of Mississippi and a second Master of Science in Biological Medical Sciences from Mississippi College. Before medical school, Dr. Moak also studied Physical Therapy at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the human body’s form and function.

She earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR, before joining the prestigious Washington University Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency Program in St. Louis, Missouri—one of the longest-standing and most respected plastic surgery training programs in the country. She then completed an American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery–endorsed Fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery with Dr. Grady Core in Birmingham, Alabama, where she gained advanced expertise in surgical artistry and aesthetic precision.

Dr. Moak is fellowship-trained and board-eligible with the American Board of Plastic Surgery—the only plastic surgery board recognized and accredited by the American Board of Medical Specialties. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail, natural-looking results, and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Throughout her career, Dr. Moak has remained active in the academic and professional advancement of aesthetic medicine. She has presented her research at national and international conferences, written textbook chapters, published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and continues to serve as a reviewer for scientific publications. Her dedication to education extends beyond the operating room—she is frequently invited to lecture and mentor aspiring surgeons.
