YOUR CONSULT AT MONARCH PLASTIC SURGERY AND SKIN RENEWAL CENTER
Your Monarch Plastic Surgery and Skin Renewal Center consultation is all about you. Our team will go out of their way to help you feel comfortable and cared for at our office.
Our patient coordinator will contact you prior to your appointment. Our Patient Coordinator will help answer questions you have about a particular treatment or surgery, gather information from you, and ensure that you are fully prepared for your appointment. Our Patient Coordinator is an excellent resource for education and will be in touch with you throughout your Monarch Plastic Surgery experience.
We encourage you to bring photos that illustrate your specific goals. You can also send these photos to us before your appointment through Touch MD. It would be most helpful if the pictures were of women of a similar age and body type to yours.
When you arrive at your initial consultation appointment, you will be greeted by our friendly staff. We will ensure all your paperwork has been completed and is in order. One of our staff members will then guide you to a consultation room. We must take clinical photos of the area(s) you want to address during your consultation. We typically obtain these photos before you meet with your surgeon, as these can be very helpful in explaining your surgical options to you and creating a plan for your surgery.
You will meet one of your surgeon’s assistants, who will discuss your goals. Your medical history will be reviewed during this time, and your surgeon’s assistant will educate you on available options. The remainder of your consultation appointment will be spent with your surgeon, who will focus on listening to you and understanding your goals. She will examine you, determine the correct procedure, and help you understand all your options. Your time with Dr. Kavali or Dr. Moak is an opportunity to learn more about your options and ask any surgery questions.
Finally, after a treatment plan has been recommended, you will meet with one of our patient coordinators, who will discuss the next steps of your journey, including scheduling surgery and financial planning. There is no need to schedule surgery now; our goal is to ensure that you leave your appointment with all the necessary information to make the right decision!
