What Surgery Is Really Like
On the day of your surgery, you’ll arrive at our AAAASF-accredited surgical suite. This gives you the safety of hospital-grade standards with the privacy and comfort of our own center. Most blepharoplasty procedures take about one to two hours, and you’ll go home the same day.
For upper eyelids, the incision is hidden within the natural crease of the lid. For lower lids, the incision may be made inside the lid or just beneath the lash line, depending on your needs. In both cases, our surgeons use advanced, minimally invasive techniques to reduce bruising and scarring. Dissolvable sutures are often used, and most patients say the recovery is easier than they expected.
