Questions & Answers
The best way to prepare for a Fotofacial is to stop all active ingredient topicals such as Retin-A, acids, and exfoliants and avoid any sun exposure for one week prior to your treatment.
There is minimal to zero downtime for a Fotofacial. You can expect mild redness immediately after treatment that typically resolves within 24 hours or less. You may experience a “pepper effect” on the areas that were treated as the pigment will gradually darken before flaking off over time. This process takes about a week and you may need multiple treatments in this area to see desired results. You can resume normal activity within 24 hours after treatment.
