During your appointment, our injector will explain the procedure, review your treatment plan, and may decide to use a topical numbing cream for additional comfort. Skinvive also contains Lidocaine to provide comfort during the injection process. The injections typically take about 15-20 minutes, which makes this a quick and convenient way to get beautiful, hydrated skin.
Once you’ve had your consultation to ensure you are a good candidate for Skinvive, you can prepare for your treatment by avoiding the consumption of alcohol and using anti-inflammatory medications in the days before treatment as this can increase your risk of bruising.
You can start to see results from your Skinvive treatment three to four weeks after your injections and with optimal treatment, it is clinically proven to last 6 months.
Skinvive has very minimal downtime. Swelling and bruising at injection sites may occur and could be present for up to two weeks after your treatment.
